I admit, this is a slightly random question, that doest always concern your average sporto boot wearer, but here we try and cater for everyone, regardless of their fashion inclinations. You may want to argue about this, but how do you decide if you will be sporting socks with your boot outfit?! With sporto boots, it obviously depends foremost on what kind if Sportos you’ve chosen. For knee high boots such as these, generally, one would wear a long sock to ensure that no rubbing or chafing occurred! Obviously, sporto boots are known for their comfort levels, and the furry, inner lining present on sportos are usually good enough to keep your feet dry and cosy. But you can’t be too careful!
What about
Sporto Boots
and Ankle socks?
A system many boot wearers employ for wearing sporto ankle boots is that they wear normal socks underneath, which ensures that the foot is well cushioned without being too hot and sweaty. A big problem with boots is often that the sweat makes the boot, and the wearer. Stink, which is especially important if the boots need to be worn for many hours in a day or fulfil the attendance of many functions. Wearing a thin sock helps to regulate your foot temperature and keep you cool. Simply enough, if it’s cold, you can always opt for double socks. Don’t forget that the inside of sporto boots are designed for warmth, so double socks is usually redundant.
Now, some boot wearers decide to wear their sportos totally sockless, for two reasons:
They like the snug, cosy feel that’s afforded by the inside of a high quality sporto boot.
They can’t afford socks! (But enjoy their sportos religiously)
In all honesty, wearing your Sporto Boots without any sock at all is probably a bad idea, even though they’re probably the most comfortable boot I’ve heard of wearing – without a sock, any sweating from your feet will mean that the beautiful lining of the sporto itself will just soak up all that human sweat, and your sporto’s will degrade in quality a lot more quickly than otherwise. I can see the attraction with not wearing a sock with your sporto boot, because well, it feels wonderful, and because they’re boots it’s not like anyone can see that you’re sock-less! Take our word for it though, don’t bother!
